The Orange wine growing region on show in the heart of Sydney’s CBD
TASTE ORANGE @ SYDNEY
2017 dates to be announced. Taste Orange @ Sydney is a cool-climate wine, food and lifestyle showcase event for the Orange region.
Orange is fast becoming known as one of Australia’s most exciting food and wine destinations, with high profile events such as the Orange Wine Festival in October and Orange F.O.O.D Week in April each year contributing to elevating the Orange region’s profile nationally.
in 2016 we had over 20 premium cool-climate wineries, local foodies and tourism providers showcasing their wares during Taste Orange @ Sydney in Martin Place, and the event was proudly sponsored by Orange City Council as part of its ‘Visit Orange’ campaign. We had an all-star regional line-up to tempt you (details of our stallholders below) and unplugged entertainment was provided during the day by local musician Josh Maynard.
This year the Principal Sponsor of Taste Orange @ Sydney was Orange City Council, as part of its Visit Orange campaign.
With four distinct seasons, more than 80 vineyards, nearly 40 cellar doors and around 50 cafes and restaurants, Orange in the Central West of New South Wales is a wine lover and foodie’s dream destination. Every week is food and wine week in Orange, and it’s always a great time to visit!
For more information on accommodation and things to do and see in Orange, we invite you to take a look at the Visit Orange website.
